Service Definitions
INITIAL SERVICE: Refers to the first service we provide for your vessel. This service includes cleaning, inspecting and documenting of all underwater surfaces and anode (zinc) conditions. The divers use special tools to clean, measure and record all underwater conditions; noting items that may need to be replaced, repaired or kept under our watchful eye. With each service, the divers will check hardware conditions, bearings and fitting connections. The divers always monitor for various types of corrosion (electrolysis), hull blistering and hull paint flaking.
EXTREME FOULING: Refers to the excessive build-up of marine growth. During the summer months the marine growth accumulates very rapidly and if a vessel goes beyond 4 weeks without service, it could experience extreme fouling and substantial performance loss. We always photograph in the case of extreme fouling and simply charge double for the extra time and detail it takes to get your vessel back to its optimum potential.
TAILORED SERVICE: This service includes cleaning,
inspecting and documenting of all underwater surfaces and anode (zinc) conditions. Before &
after photographs are always included with this service, along with a waterline stain removal
application. This service maintains that new waterline look and visually documents the underwater components for as long as you own your vessel. All tailored vessels are at the top of our list, serviced and ready for your arrival.
STANDARD SERVICE: This service includes cleaning, inspecting and documenting of all underwater surfaces and anode (zinc) conditions. This service does not include before and after photographs or the waterline stain removal application, but we will provide photographs of any damage or concerns that require owner/mechanic/insurance visual confirmation.
ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS: Refers to add-on items such as bow and stern thrusters, elaborate swim platforms and hydraulic transom lifts. These components typically come with their own anodes and specific mechanical items that need to be inspected. Hydraulic actuators, hoses, fittings, additional propellers, struts, bearings and surface coatings are always inspected with each service. These items demand a high level of detailing as they are located in small, hard to reach areas.
